It was the morning when Chase woke up coughing. He had a fever and he felt weak. Not knowing what to do, he tried to call his roommate, "Vi-" he coughed, "Vi... lav..."

Vilav's ear twitched. He hadn't slept for long, he tended to not get enough sleep usually. He heard the quiet weak voice saying his name and he immediately sat up quickly then got up, looking to the sickly Chase.
"Chase....?" He asked, leaning down near him. "Are you alright...? You don't look well at all." He frowned worriedly.

"I-I..." he shivered, "I d-don't know. I feel so s-sick." he pulled his sheets closer to his body.

Vilav blinked at him worriedly and carefully put a hand to his forehead. "Oh dear....you're burning up...." He said, standing up. "I'm going to go get some medicine and a cold rag, alright? We probably need to head you over to the doctor, but let's try to get that fever down first." He said, sounding extremely worried.

"A-alright," Chase coughed.

Vilav walked to the bathroom and opened up the medicine cabinet, finding some tylenol and then went to the fridge to get an icepack before walking back to Chase's bedside. "Here you are...." He said, holding out a glass of water as well. "Take this, it'll hopefully help the fever go down. Along with this icepack- put it on your forehead. I know it will feel terribly cold, but it will be for the better...." He said with a nod.

Chase weakly sat up and took the glass to slowing drink the water. He then took the ice pack and lied back down, placing it on his forehead before giving a quick shiver, "Thank you..." he said with a weak smile.

Vilav nodded, giving a weak, worried smile back before sitting on the floor beside his bed.
"Is there anything else I can get for you? What all symptoms are you having aside from the fever?" He asked concernedly.

"I'm f-fine. W-well," Chase thought for a moment, "the r-rest of my body feels c-cold, I feel a l-little dizzy and... nauseous..."

Vilav sighed, and rubbed Chase's arm very softly, before stopping, not sure if that would be comforting to him or not. "I'm sorry to hear that, Chase..." He said with a sigh. "Do you perhaps need an anti-nausea medication as well? Or perhaps a bucket or trash can in case you need to vomit?" He asked, wanting to do anything he could to help his dear sick friend.

"I-I think I do need a bucket, or something," Chase clenched onto his shirt, "I r-really don't feel well right n-now..."

Vilav nodded and went to find a trash can lined with a bag and laid it down next to his bed, sitting down on he floor beside him again, sighing. "Im terribly sorry you feel so awful, Chase...."

"Y-you shouldn't be," Chase said, almost in whispers, "it's n-not your fault. T-to be honest, you s-surprised me. I d-didn't think you'd stay w-with me for t-this long. Y-you're a r-really great friend-" he suddenly covered his mouth, fighting hard to hold something back in.

"I know it is not, but I still cannot help but feel bad....seeing you suffer is terrible." He said, an ear twitching a bit. "Of course I will....I will stay until you feel better, if need be." He said with a small smile and then blinked as Chase covered his mouth. "Are....are you alright?"

Chase didn't answer, he used his free hand to point down at the trash can.

Vilav quickly handed him the small trash can, understanding that he needed to vomit, looking to him concernedly.

Chase took the trash can, sat up and put his face inside, before vomiting. When he was done, he pulled his head back, gasping for air.

Vilav carefully rubbed his back and pushed some of the hair out of his face so as to keep it from getting in the way; even if there wasn't as much to worry about as there was before. "Are you alright....?" He murmured, worrying even further.

"Im f-fine now," Chase answered eventually, "I d-don't feel as bad a-as I did before..."

Vilav smiled weakly. "Well that's good at least..." He said, fluffing out his pillows a bit. "Perhaps you should have a few sips of water when you can, this way you don't get dehydrated."

Chase lied back down, "A-alright..." after some time, he fell asleep and his fever had gone down.

Vilav continued to sit there for awhile, having fell asleep eventually on the floor, curling up a bit.

A while passed before Chase woke up again. He felt alot better now. As he sat up, he noticed Vilav sleeping on the floor and smiled, not knowing if he should wake him up or not.

Vilav laid peacefully on the floor, asleep and then smirking and murmuring to himself, "Hm, yes? Skull necklaces, you say? Why yes, I will receive twenty from you, if you will..."

Chase looked at him, surprised before realising he was talking in his sleep, "Maybe," he smiled, "I should wake him up." he climbed out of bed and gently shook Vilav's shoulder, "Vilav, wake up."

"Oh, you, you...do?" He muttered before he opened his eyes, his mint irises flittering awake before blinking in some surprise. "Oh dearest death.....I fell asleep! I apologize, Chase. You looked so peaceful I suppose it rubbed off on me..." He said before tilting his head. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

Chase smiled and shook his head, "It's alright Vilav. I feel alot better now. I don't think I would've managed without you... Thank you."

Vilav smiled relatively brightly. "Oh you are quite welcome, Chase. It's an honor, actually"

Chase stood up and started tidying his bed, "I think I should go out for some fresh air."

Vilav nodded in understanding, standing up and stretching his limbs, his wings popping out all the way also as he stretched them out around him. "Would you like me to come with you or do you prefer to go alone?"

After finishing, Chase turned to him and smiled, "Sure," he answered, "if it's not too much trouble, you can come."

Vilav nodded and followed him. "It's no trouble at all. I could probably use some fresh air as well." He said as he tagged alongside him.

"Wait," Chase looked down at his clothes, "do you think people will notice I'm wearing pyjamas or should I change?"

Vilav tilted his head a bit. "Well, I suppose they might. But it's up to you whether you really care or not. You've been sick after all, so I don't think anyone could blame you even if they did notice."

"Mmm," Chase walked over to the wardrobe and took out a plain shirt and trousers.

Vilav laughed a little bit. "Yes, that works as well."

"My mother always taught me," Chase explained, "that I should never leave a room without looking proper."

Vilav chuckled a little. "I suppose that is good advice- though I guess I deviate from that advice sometimes...." He muttered, as he always did tend to have a well...interesting style.

Chase smiled and went into the bathroom to change.

Vilav sat back down on the bed for a moment while he waited- he almost considered for a slight moment changing as well, but his long black shirt was too comfy for the time being.

After a while, Chase came out with his pyjamas, folded in his hands. When he placed them under his pillow, he looked at Vilav, "Are you ready?"

Vilav was spacing out a little bit before turning to Chase and nodding, standing back up. "Yes, I suppose as much as I'll ever be." He said with a slight smirk.
